IMMEDIATE VACANCIES – INFRASTRUCTURE SECTOR:
GIC Limited is working with a client firm, a major international player in the infrastructure sector, which is keen to develop its International Financing Institutions (IFIs) business through World Bank, Asian Development Bank etc contracts.
You should be qualified to at least Bachelors and preferably Masters degree level in a construction-related discipline such as architecture, engineering, surveying. Candidates from other relevant disciplines, e.g. transport economics, materials procurement, may be considered.
You should have:
- at least 10 years work experience of which at least 3 years in emerging/developing economies preferably in Central and Eastern Europe and/or Central or SE Asia commissioning or engaged on IFIs-funded Technical Assistance or project activities;
- a strong track record in at least one of: environment; municipal/social infrastructure; power; transport; urban development; water & sanitation;
- a command of World Bank-type PCM and the financing and procurement procedures of at least one major IFI.
You will be expected to be effective both in new business acquisition (opportunities identification, proposals preparation) and projects planning and delivery.
Positions will be London-based although another geographical base may be negotiable.
